Dear Homeowners,

At the board meeting held on May 13th, several community members expressed concerns regarding a rule in the CC&Rs that restricts the use of walkways and common areas for wheeled vehicles, except for direct ingress and egress from residences.

We would like to clarify that this rule was established when the property was originally developed and was not implemented by the current board. To modify this rule, the CC&Rs must be formally amended through a legal process. A draft of the revised CC&Rs will be prepared by the association’s attorney, after which it will be distributed to the community for a vote.

For the amendment to be approved, at least forty-three (43) members must vote in favor of the changes.

Please note that this process does take time and is not immediate. In the meantime, all existing rules, including the restriction on wheeled vehicles in common areas, remain in effect until further notice.
